Meet your Therapist
Hi, I’m Vanessa, a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about helping children and families thrive through meaningful communication and feeding support.
I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas State University, graduating during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020—a unique and challenging time that shaped my perspective on resilience, connection, and care.
Following graduate school, I began my career in home health and quickly fell in love with serving families in their natural environment. Providing therapy in the home allows children to learn and grow where they feel most comfortable, while also giving caregivers the opportunity to actively participate in their child's progress. I believe some of the greatest gains happen when families feel empowered with the tools and confidence to support their child beyond our therapy sessions.
Over the past six years, I have developed a special passion for working with children from birth through kindergarten, as well as those with feeding challenges. My therapy approach is play-based, family-centered, and individualized to each child's unique strengths and needs. I love helping little ones build communication skills, connect with the people around them, and gain confidence in their feeding abilities.
My goal is to partner with families to create meaningful progress, celebrate every milestone, and support children as they grow into confident communicators by nurturing communication and nourshing connection.
